Welcome To "The Lonely Hearts Club"

Server Rules:

New Rule: Commoners Can't Rob! This is to keep it simple when people call random after a robbery. It is more believable that an outlaw was actually robbing the person.

Threatening Behavior:

These actions can be seen as a threat, and in turn players have the right to kill you for
demonstrating them.

1. Hitting with a horse more than once.
2. Brandishing a weapon for more than 10 seconds. (Excluding Lances, War bows, Longbows, Hunting Bows, Tools, and Materials)
3. Swinging or pulling back a bowstring.
4. Kicking, or punching other players.
5. Robbery, Yelling “Halt” Is not a hostile action.
6. Returning to your corpse after death to loot your own body.
7. Not listening to a threat after 10 seconds.
8. Theft
9. Destruction of Property

NLR: No returning to your corpse after getting killed. Both the person who was killed, and the person
who killed the person who died, are not to initiate RP for 15 mins after the death occurs. The person
killed is now on a “New Life” and is not allowed to RP using information from his/her previous life.

NRR: Do not try to revenge kill the person who killed you. You cannot initiate RP for fifteen minutes with
the person who killed you. This includes both with words and action.

Meta Gaming: You cannot use information that your character does not know within his/her current life.
You are not able to react to fighting or death unless you actually see the fighting or death take place,
even if it within your own faction.

Help Rule: Unless you have a valid RP reason to take place in a fight, you are not to participate. Even if
the person yells help, participation in a fight without cause is not valid.

Guard Contracts: You must say *Guarding “Target”* in all chat to start a contract. Any attempt to
guard someone under attack without being in the same faction, or under a guard contract will result in
penalties within the game. (This is excluding members of The Imperial Legion Special Division)

Harassment: Any form or harassment, or repetitive trolling will not be tolerated, and result in
permanent ban from the server. This includes vulgarity, sexual harassment, malicious behavior, or
anything else with the intention of taking away from other people’s gaming experience.

Assassin Contracts: Need to be approved by an admin, and have a valid reason within the client’s
lifespan. Here is the template: Target: “name” Client: “Name” Reason: “Info about the hit.”

War:

In order to declare war, The reason must be stated in all chat 3 times, and a 5 minute ceasefire must take place. All members of the warring factions must be in their own keep during the ceasefire. The messenger rule is no longer in effect.

Color Rule: All allied factions in a war, must be the same color. This will help to prevent TK, and RDM during war time.

Raids/Occupations/Rebelion: To raid or occupy a town with a faction, the raid leader must announce it all chat 3 times. Then wait 3 mins before attacking. To rebel it works the same way. If all hostiles are killed off in a raid/occupation the battle ends. A raid cant be declared for 15 mins, in the case of a rebellion, the occupying faction must leave riverwood for 30 mins.

Reasons to declare war:

1. Land: The attackers must not have a keep of their own, and when the leader of the
attacking faction dies, the war must end, and cannot be re-declared for 15 mins. During the
ceasefire, they must stay at least one town away from the target keep.
2. Holy War: As long as it is valid RP, two religions can declare war on each other. The war
ends when one side has no land, and their leader is dead.
3. Alliance: if your allies go to war, you can side with them. You must declare peace if you have
no land, and your lord dies.
4. Skirmishes: If a fight breaks out, and men from your faction are killed, you can declare war
to avenge the deaths of your people. The war ends when a faction does not have a keep,
and their lord dies.
5. Imperial Conquest: If your faction wishes to grow into an empire, you can attack with the
intention of making the opposing faction submit to the will of your faction. If the lord of the
empire dies, even if they have land, there must be peace for 15 mins before war can be
reestablished. The defending faction loses when they have no land, and the lord is dead.
6. RP Relations: Issues relating to emotional affairs that still within the realms of RP, such as
Relationships, Betrayal, Vengeance, etc… War functions as normal, a faction loses the war
when they have no land, and the lord is dead.

Non-War Factions:
Black Caste: Assassins
The Imperial Legion, and Special Division: Guards the towns, and Castles
Black Co: Works for other factions, in return for money.
